Power Washing Value
Facts About Power Washing Services and Added Value
Today I will talk about the different services you may want to consider adding as a pressure washing company here in Southern California and the potential value you can add for your customer. As a pressure washing company there are many ways you can add value to your services for your customer, but before we move any further with that, we need to first identify the different services that we can provide as a power washing company.
Basic to Advanced
Firstly, there are the basic pressure washing services which include concrete cleaning, exterior wall cleaning, exterior window washing, roof washing, in both residential and commercial properties; however, there is also stain removal which falls into restoration as opposed to basic cleaning. Restoration involves the removal of any and all stains; such as, grease, oil, efflorescence, rust, clay stains and so on.
But in Southern California we have to do better than that. Here pressure washing companies cannot only focus on pressure washing because there will be many times when you simply won’t be busy if that is all you offer, so you have to include other services such as solar panel cleaning and interior window cleaning.
However, we cannot be a pressure washing company that happens to do windows where a window cleaning company would be superior since that is all they focus on. No, here, the pressure washing company has to, essentially, be a window cleaning company as well. As in, you are just as good at windows and solar panels as the other guys. Meaning you have to know how to remove hard water stains and all the various issues one faces as a window cleaner.
It does not stop there, there are even more services you can provide; for instance, junk removal, paver sealing, monthly trash can cleaning, and so on. You must become creative, but, more importantly, COMPETENT at what new services you take on!
Added Value
Now, where can one add value to the myriad of services that we offer as a pressure washing company? One example could include a free house wash and top-notch window cleaning to your roof wash. You are going to make a mess when the run off comes cascading down from the roof, so you might as well offer a free house wash and window cleaning while you’re at it.
There is nothing worse than leaving a mess after you’ve “cleaned” something. This will not only save you from potential liability (for example, you might stain the fascia boards as the dirt runs off the roof), but it will let the customer know that they are getting more for their buck. They’re not only getting a basic house wash, but a window cleaning as well.
Everybody loves a deal, and your customer is no different! Be creative. Remember, these nice folks are entrusting you with their homes and they are willing to pay your prices, so do not make them regret it.
